Messy Church

Ooh, I’m excited! Keen EBC-ers may remember from our November church meeting and subsequent Sunday services that after leading it brilliantly for 18 months Sallyann Lea has stepped back from her leading of Messy Church, but we are continuing with this wonderful ministry – and we need some help!

Yesterday a group of us met to make some plans and we’re excited about the future of Messy Church which will continue in a slightly simplified way that will hopefully allow us to build on the community feeing that there is and allow a bit more time and space for conversations to be had and relationships to blossom.

Some of the main reasons we want to continue Messy Church (despite all the mess and madness!) include the great community we have built up, the seeds of faith we have been sowing (that may shoot up without our ever knowing!), the win/win you always get when the generations engage with each other, the sense of family that builds up around a shared meal and the fact that we are reaching lots of people who don’t normally “do” church! Long may it continue as part of our mission to reach people and make disciples!

If you’d like to get involved, please have a chat with me, Kat Morling, Pam Hickson, Kim Perchard or Eileen Charlton – or just ping an email in to officestaff@ebc-bracknell.org

Every blessing,
Simon
