Thank you!

Just wanted to say a massive THANK YOU  to everyone who helped in so many ways to prepare and run (and clean up after!) all of our Christmas/New Year events.

There are too many to list, but off the top of my head we had two school visits, two school Community Carols evenings, a Thursday Carol Service, a Premix Toddlers party, Messy Church, Night Shelter (including on Christmas night), a Christmas Day lunch celebration and I’m pretty sure there was a Christingle service in there too…. Oh, yes – and my favourite of all, Turkey & Tinsel, with about 80 senior citizens on New Year’s Eve!

All of that alongside our normal services (well, I say “normal”…) has made for a busy but joyous and wonderful Christmas time at EBC.

We have also recently had the privilege of hosting a service of celebration for the life of a wonderful Christian lady who passed away recently, with at least four churches and about 150 people present.

This morning, Rob, Kat and I received a message of thanks from Abs Dumbuya in Sierra Leone, thanking EBC profusely for the help we have been able to give him and our partner church (Regent Road Baptist Church).

I feel so very privileged to be a part of this church family. Thank you.
