This series is a sequel to the 2017 series by the same name. It takes people through what church is, what that looks like EBC and why we do what we do.
Church is built by Jesus as a way of reaching out to people and making disciples of them. This is life-changing for each of us - if we choose to engage!
Sunday 28th January : The Church Family
The church is the called-out assembly of God - His family - and we're invited to be part of it. We are all God's children - people for whom Jesus died.
Sunday 4th February : Part of the Family
Belonging before believing. Engagement is not endorsement.
Sunday 11th February : Family Assets
Polish your facets… discover your assets
Sunday 18th February : A Family Likeness
Members of God’s family have a likeness to Jesus – not physically but spiritually – and this is seen by what they do with what they have been given: how they treat other people and how they treat God. When you look in the mirror – when you reflect… do you see the family likeness?
Sunday 25th February : Family Committments
Baptism is the way into membership of the church and the Jesus-approved mark of public commitment to God. Repent and be baptized.
The series takes place at our Sunday morning services at 10.15 a.m. in our church building on South Hill Road, Bracknell. Our services include songs, prayer and video clips as well as a talk.
Remix for 2-11 year olds and Unity for young people in school years 7-11 takes place at the same time as the service during the first three Sundays in the month. On the 28th January and 25th February we have "Big Story" All Age services.
Each week we have tea, coffee, cold drinks and biscuits after the service.
