Celebration Of Life

The last 18 months have been tough on all of us in lots of different ways, and we want to provide opportunities for us to get together as a community and celebrate life together; to take stock and give thanks.
We’ll be kicking off this week on Sunday 8th August with services that are a ‘Celebration of Life’ at 10am and 11am. These services will also include communion. The following week will then look a bit like this:
Monday 9th August: Worship and Prayer
There will be opportunities to come together to sing and pray throughout the day, with sessions from 10am – 12 noon, 3pm – 5pm and 7pm – 9pm. Come and join us at any or all these times! (Refreshments will be available in each session).
Tuesday 10th August: Soup and Sandwich
You can sign up for this event through the church office.
Wednesday 11th August: Wellbeing Day
The church will be open from 10am until 4pm for people to come and potter around in the garden, engage in tabletop activities and generally chill together.
Lunch will be provided, so let us know in advance if you would like to join us
Thursday 12th August: Soup and Sandwich
If you couldn’t make it on Tuesday, you can sign up for this one!
Unfortunately, you can only sign up for one soup and sandwich during the week.
Friday 13th August: Holiday@Home
This is an event for all the family, so bring your grandparents, parents, children, grandchildren…..all are welcome!
This event will run from 10am until 4pm and you need to sign in through the church office.
The day includes refreshments, including a fish & chip lunch. There is a suggested donation of £5 per person.
Saturday 14th August is a day of rest!
Sunday 15th August: Funday Sunday
We are once again holding our community Funday from 11am until 3pm. Everyone is invited to join in the activities available (including the BBQ!). No need to book, just turn up.
Unfortunately, we are still unable to provide transport.
We would love to see you at these events, to celebrate life in all its fullness together.
In the meantime, stay safe and stay connected
