Sweet Salone

Those of us who have been fortunate enough to visit Sierra Leone, and in particular the capital Freetown, often speak warmly and fondly about our experiences in the country.
BBC News recently published a letter from African journalist, Joseph Warungu who is normally based in Nairobi, Kenya. In the letter, he explains what he finds so attractive about the people of Sierra Leone, and why it is rightly know as "Sweet Salone". You can read his letter by clicking here.
In his letter, Joseph really captures what so many of us have experienced, and he goes some way to explain why this country draws us back again and again.
