Big Bad Wolf Part 3: The Heretic - Sincere and Wrong

Once you have listened, here are some questions to consider:

1. Can you think of a statement that has been made recently by someone who is sincere but proved to be wrong?

2. Since they both make statements or give incorrect/false teaching, explain the difference between a “Deceiver” and a “Heretic”.

3. Do you think that the apostle Paul was a heretic when, as Saul the Pharisee, he persecuted and arrested followers of Jesus?

4. In his letters to Timothy, Paul was very encouraging. When was the last time that you encouraged someone?

5. Do you believe that the entire bible is “God-breathed or inspired by God? How does the bible influence your life?

6. What are some of the false beliefs that you have heard concerning God or the bible?

7. How do you ensure that you protect yourself against false teaching?

8. Are you praying for anyone who has a false view of the Christian faith?
